2. Now you need to find the right service provider business partners:

Most companies interested in setting up a captive will need the assistance of a captive manager, an attorney or other professional service provider.  In this regard, SCCIA encourages you to check out our Service Provider Directory for business partner referrals.

3. Next you need the correct forms:

The link below will direct you to the most current forms, applications and information on the South Carolina Department of Insurance website. Download the current forms from the DOI website to ensure you are using the correct application.

4. Now you need information:

SCCIA is a valuable informational resource to anyone doing captive business in South Carolina. Captive Insurance Companies and RRGs receive waived membership dues for their first year.  You can join at no cost for the first year and experience the support of the industry.
